Rosie Doesn't Take The Donald's Bait

Rosie O'Donnell shot back at Donald Trump this morning on "The View" -- with nothing more than a piggy-ish face.

Fitting, perhaps, since "pig-faced" was just one of the adjectives Trump used to describe Rosie yesterday after their public slapfight exploded. Against expectations, Rosie chose not to get in the ring with the Infamously-Coifed One, making only passing reference to The Donald.

Pointing out the presence of her partner Kelli in the studio audience, Rosie said, "I was afraid to leave her home in case someone with a combover [ahem] came and stole her from me."

And that was that. Meanwhile, Donald vented on "Good Morning L.A." Is Rosie now taking the high road, or has she been silenced? Her rep says she's has no additional comment.

A rep for "The View" provided this comment from Barbara Walters, who is out of the country, to TMZ: "Donald Trump is a personal friend of mine and has been a good friend to 'The View' for many years. I'm sorry there is friction between Donald and Rosie. That said, I do not regret for one moment my choice to hire Rosie O'Donnell as the moderator of 'The View'. I certainly hope and expect that this tempest will pass quickly."

46. Oh puhlease! Rosie brings the view's ratings up, Donald is drowning in slumped ratings, this is all about the donald hyping up his upcoming season. He is no one to judge ANYONE. He was an absent father, a liar, a cheater, a womanizer, a chauvenistic pig and I could go on and on. Too bad if someone finally had the BALLZ to go up against him in public? 50. I love to watch both Rosie and The Donald.The Apprentice is great and i love to watch it. I love Rosie's shows and I love her outspokeness. I think Donald seems to be in several public disputes ie:
Martha and Carolyn. He can dish it out but can't seem to take it. I named my canary 'The Donald" when my kids gave it to me due to a mound of funky hair on his head.Donald may have "billions" as he says but he also has a billion reasons to laugh at him, including this foolish episode. He needs a current haircut and style the most but his denial allows us to make fun of him and Rosie did do it the best. I have to agree it seems hypocritical for him to be deciding about anyone's morals.Personally I will follow Rosie wherever she may go- but The Donald-I think he is interesting but to me a failure as a man.Also Barbara Walters diminished herself when she created the View in my opinion and now I see her as just another entertainer. She seems stupid in lots of ways to me.The whole handling of the Star Jones thing made me think she is just another Bitch of a woman in the work place.

52. I think it's amazing that you people instantly begin tearing down rosie because of her sexual preferance or her weight. That is how pathetic this society has become. When somebody speaks out how they feel, others tear them down because of their looks or their sexuality. Half you people are f***ing pathetic! Now those who have commented on the fact that Trump obviously was out of line and made comments that a second grader would make, you are 100% correct. Rosie says the things that nobody wants to say and I give her a lot of respect because of it.

59. Rosie's a nasty fat cow. I haven't watched the View since they added that pig. As for the Donald ... I'm not a fan but in this fight ... it's TEAM DONALD all the way.
