Christopher Reeve -- The Fight Goes On

Today marks three years since Christopher Reeve died -- nine years after he suffered a paralyzing injury when he was thrown from a horse. His wife Dana died of cancer in 2006. Seems like just yesterday when Superman saved the world!

39. To Harvey & TMZ:

A classy move to remember Chris & Dana, for their hard work and the great people they were/ are. I know their many friends and family (around the world) are grateful that they are not forgotten.

A tip of the hat to you Harvey.

41. hate to bust the bubble, christopher reeve once stated that he was an athiest, so don't know if he's resting in peace or not.

42. Extraordinary people like them remind us of what life is truly about...the higher purpose in all of us, and our potential for greatness. We can take tragedy and turn it into triumph. WE ALL have to carry the torch in our hearts and strive to live fully and with meaning.

It would be great if TMZ would honor people like Christopher and Dana on a regular basis, and among the living too. How about a post on the amazing presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich, who is someone who can help make our world a better place. Please use your site's popularity to talk about more than idle gossip. Live with purpose...

43. Let's feel sorry for all those animals that died in labs trying to find a cure for him - for an accident he caused himself.
