Aside from the whole "my dad allegedly punched my mom thing," Hayden Panettiere told our photog her family is great when we got her this weekend in DC.
An order of protection was issued against Alan Panettiere that orders him not to "harass, strike, threaten, assault (sexually or otherwise), follow, stalk [or] molest" his wife Lesley. He'll be in court for arraignment in December.

Hayden Panettiere's mom Lesley tried hiding yesterday under a pair of her best white "Risky Business" sunglasses. The question: What is she hiding?
Lesley was allegedly clocked on the left cheek by her husband during a drunken spat Monday morning. Law enforcement tells us her cheek was bruised.
We're told the case will be referred to the D.A., but after hubby Alan was released from the pokey, we got video of the two of them walking the dog. If Lesley has a change of heart, good luck getting a conviction.

We just got video of Alan Panettiere walking with his dog after getting out of the klink, and it looks like he's walking with the wife he's accused of punching. It's not 100%, but it sure looks like her ... and she knows the security code to the building.
Alan told pappers the whole thing "was blown out of proportion." Law enforcement told us Lesley Panettiere called the cops and said her hubby struck her in the cheek with a closed fist around 3:00 AM this morning. Cops arrested him on suspicion of felony spousal abuse. And, we're told, both may have been drinking a lot prior to the incident.
Judging from the video, it seems as if she may be trying to drop the whole matter. Ultimately, authorities have the final word, but without a cooperative victim, these cases are hard to prosecute.

After allegedly punching mama Panettiere in the face, Alan P. was laying low after being released from jail.
Alan Panettiere was booked on felony spousal abuse charges. From what we're hearing, alcohol was a factor in the argument that allegedly turned violent this AM.
Alan was released on $50,000 bail.

We have more details on the Panettiere arrest.
Law enforcement tells us Alan allegedly struck wife Lesley at least twice with fist -- a right cross to the left cheek, causing noticeable bruising. We're told both had definitely been drinking.
Alan told cops when they arrived, "I'm Alan. Yeah, I just got into an argument with my drunk wife." We're also told Alan "clearly" was under the influence. Among other things, his eyes were extremely bloodshot and his hair was a mess.
Lesley is the one who called the cops and when they came she asked them to arrest her hubby.
These allegations make it clear why Alan was arrested on felony spousal abuse.

Things don't seem copacetic in the Panettiere house.
Before Alan was arrested for allegedly punching wife Lesley in the face, our spies tell us they both partied last night at Beso, Eva Longoria's restaurant. They arrived separately ... Alan got there first-- waaaay early we're told. We hear both Alan and Lesley had clearly enjoyed a few cocktails during the evening.
They were then seated at a table with Hayden and Jansen P., H's BF Milo Ventimiglia, Jeff Pantukhoff, the head of the Whaleman Foundation and Clint Eastwood's son Scott Reeves. Lesley was seen "chatting up" Reeves for a good part of the evening.
According to law enforcement, before Alan allegedly smacked Lesley, he allegedly said he felt "disrespected."

TMZ now has details of what went down between Hayden Panettiere's mom and dad before daddy was busted for allegedly striking mommy, and we have video of the mother arriving at the party just hours before the incident.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Alan and Lesley Panettiere were at a party earlier in the evening. We're told Alan was upset because Lesley was "hanging" with someone at the shindig and he felt she was "disrespecting" him.
Sources say, according to Lesley's statement to Sheriffs, the couple went home, began arguing and he struck her in the cheek. We're told cops took pictures and there are visible marks.
Paramedics advised her she should go to the hospital but she refused. Alan did not give a statement to the police. It's unclear if any of their kids were at the house at the time of the incident.
TMZ shot this video of Hayden and Lesley arriving at Eva Longoria's restaurant, Beso, for the party last night, both looking ridiculously hot.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Hayden Panettiere's dad, Alan, has been arrested for allegedly battering his wife -- Hayden's mom.
Sgt. Wolf of the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department tells TMZ Alan Panettiere was arrested this morning on a felony count of domestic violence. He was popped after allegedly striking Lesley Panettiere in the face at around 3:00 AM today.
He is currently being held on $50,000 bail.

So imagine our shock when we broke the story that Hayden Panettiere's dad allegedly committed spousal abuse ... and then we remembered a video we put up almost a year ago to the day.
Rewind to August 15, 2007. Hayden, mom Lesley and dad Alan went to The Ivy with Mario Lopez, who laughed and said to pappers, "Let's start rumors" -- and even joked he and Lesley were on a date. It was all a gag back then.
Lesley laughed as Mario hugged her and hubby Alan played along.
